The Aureum is both the page where I log the rest of my developer projects, but also the name of a specific software I've been working on for a few years.
This page primarily only hosts one project, as the rest of my projects are already published on my Itch.io Page
The Aureum is intended to be a 'one-stop shop' type of worldbuilding software for all types of creatives. I designed it with variety and creatives in mind, after finding myself frustrated with how most other software designed for worldbuilding is made.
Most of these other sites or apps tend to have specific niches they cater to, like Novel writers vs TTRPG creators/players, and I find that it limits a lot of my creativity and ability to use them normally with some of the preset limitations. With The Aureum, it's currently being designed to be as broadly useable as possible, whether you're an OC Creator, a visual novel developer, a comic artist, a furry, TTRPG user, sims player, etc.
The Aureum is a simple electron.js based desktop app that's meant to store and organize your characters and story worlds. The typical flow of the program finds the user creating a 'world' that works functionally almost like a folder to display their characters in. The characters can then be created, linked to one another, used in random generation tools, and more.

Just kidding. Right now the project is primarily an empty bunch of frames waiting on javascript to make them work, and it's been a long process for me because instead of learning javascript in college I paid more attention to Python and am now relearning javascript again. Thankfully, Neocities came in handy there so I'm testing my newfound skills out all around the site.
Because there isn't much in the way of actual news to share here, I'll leave some images of the screens below
