- How to Webcomic - The Starfishface
- Genuinely adore and recommend this one. I was in need of a refresher on a lot for my art, and this creators book helped push me in a lot of the right directions and reminded me of fundamentals I'd forgotten. 10/10 suggest buying this to support the artist because the amount of genuinely useful content in this book is so beyond worth the price I paid for it.
- Becoming a Webtoon Creator - Leeanne M. Krecic (Mongie)
- I've been following Mongie since the earlier days of Let's Play on Canvas, because where else will you find a geeky game obsessed teenager? I really enjoyed reading this piece when I first saved it because there's a certain air about it that's different. I want to say it feels less fake, but then to explain what makes articles like this feel fake? Artificial? Anyways, my point is that she gives honest answers and her perspective as advice for other future webcomic creators. It really openedmy eyes on just how much of an undertaking and timesink (for lack of a better word) a comic truly is.
